Make Me Over Mary Kay!

As you may remember, I’m going to my 10 year high school reunion soon! So, I was super excited when BlogHer and Mary Kay offered me some new skin care and makeup products to try, both to prep for the big event and to wear at it.

To help fight fine lines, refine pores, and achieve beautifully smooth skin I tried the Timewise Microdermabrasion set.

I used the exfoliating face wash and then the replenishing serum. The set really made my skin feel fresh, energized, and glowing.

Yep, that’s me with no makeup! But honestly my skin felt so nice after the microdermabrasion I didn’t even self-conscious about taking a no makeup picture.

I’ll definitely be using this a few times a week leading up the reunion!

I also got a bunch of great makeup….

Lipstick and mascara.

And a really cool little compact of eyeshadow, blush, and brushes. So great for beauty on the go!

So decided a little trial-run of my makeup for the reunion using my new Mary Kay makeup!

I started with my own foundation and eyeliner only (my staples).

Then I put on the rest of my makeup using my new Mary Kay products (lipstick, mascara, eyeshadow, and blush)

I loved my look!

The compact was a real winner. The eye shadow was easy to apply and really helped to enhance my eyes. And the mineral cheek color gave my cheeks the perfect glow.

I also loved the mascara. It went on clean making my lashes look longer and prettier without looking chunky.

And the lipstick was great too. It was a beautiful color and lasted a long time.

I can’t wait to be looking my best at my reunion thanks to Mary Kay!

BEIJING
- Authorities are 2009 All Star Philadelphia Phillies 6 Howard Red Jerseys investigating rice mills in southern China following tests that found almost half of the staple grain in one of the country's largest cities was contaminated with a toxic metal.
The mills in Hunan province's Youxian county were ordered to suspend business and recall their products after samples showed excessive levels of cadmium, according to an official notice issued Tuesday by the county government.
It said the mills had been operating legally and sourced their rice from local farmers.
The announcement followed reports over the weekend that government inspectors discovered that 44.4 percent of rice and rice products tested this year in the southern city of Guangzhou in Guangdong province showed high levels of cadmium. The carcinogenic metal can seriously damage the kidneys and cause other health 2009 All Star Philadelphia Phillies 6 Howard Red Jerseys problems.
Hunan is a heavily agricultural province that borders on Guangdong, although it Mets 5 Wright Black 2011 All Star Yankees 46 Andy Pettitte White 2010 All Star Jerseys Jerseys wasn't clear if there was a direct connection between the mills and Guangzhou's tainted rice.
While investigations are continuing, cadmium is believed to have entered the rice from soil polluted with heavy metals. Air and soil pollution are chronic problems in China, caused by poor regulation of industrial emissions and heavy dependence on coal to generate electricity.
China's food supply also suffers from deliberate faking or adulterating by unscrupulous operators, leading to occasional public panic over products from infant formula to cooking oil and a deep lack of trust in the government's ability to ensure food safety.
In one of the worst scandals, at 2009 All Star Boston Red Sox 15 Dustin Pedroia Blue Jerseys least six babies died and 300,000 became sick in 2008 after being fed milk powder tainted with the industrial chemical melamine, which was illegally added to watered-down dairy products to make their protein content appear normal.
